No.18585/1901, enquiring whether the Lords Commissioners

of the Admiralty can recommend a candidate,who has had

hospital experience in the Naval Medical Service for the

post of Wardmaster for the Government Medical Department,

Hong Kong,- I am commanded by their Lordships to acquaint

you, for the information of the Secretary of State for the

Colonies, that they regret that their efforts to obtain a

suitable candidate for this post have been unsuccessful.
